Rebecca Janke, MSW, works in Vancouver, British Columbia as a Registered Social Worker.  She supports families and provides workshops for parents and teens in Metro Vancouver. Rebecca is an authorized Neufeld practionner after completing a post graduate program through the Neufeld Institute. Areas of expertise include parenting strategies, discipline, parent and child attachment issues, life transitions, addiction, anxiety, adoption preparation and post-adoption support.

Rebecca takes a developmental approach and focuses on enhancing the best attachment between parents and their children. She and her husband are the parents to two teens who keep her grounded in the complex realities of parenting this next generation of children. Email:

Christie Mackie, MA, RCC, works in Vancouver British Columbia as a Registered Clinical Counsellor in private practice supporting parents and professionals in making sense of kids. She is authorized as a Neufeld practionner after completing a post graduate program through the Neufeld Institute. Christie is passionate about her work with families and believes her role is to shed light on what can seem such a difficult and confusing time, while working towards reclaiming or holding onto a child or teen.

Christie also works at the Neufeld Institute (since 2008), and is currently the Director of Advanced Courses. Previously, Christie worked with Fraser Health to support children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. She is a mother to three beautiful children and has a deep understanding of the variety of feelings involved in parenting in today’s world. Bridgett Miller, HDipEd, HDipRemEd, BA has a background in Education, Special Education and Psychology. She is certified by the BC Ministry of Education and is an Authorized Facilitator at the Neufeld Institute. Bridgett is passionate about helping parents and educators make developmental sense of the children in their lives. She offers Neufeld courses and presentations in a variety of settings and draws on her almost two decades of teaching young children to help illustrate the material and enrich the participants learning experience.


Danny Taylor is currently completing his Master of Counseling with City University of Canada, while working full time in Richmond, BC as an Addiction Prevention Specialist. Danny has spent the last decade focused on providing programs and opportunities that engage people around their life choices and the way addiction impacts our stories. Danny’s background working with youth and families from a developmental and relational perspective has equipped him with a strong capacity to engage and support these dynamic populations. He has a natural ability to connect with kids and adolescents and is fluent in attachment and narrative therapeutic approaches.
