Sliding into Sleep: Preserving relationships and Healthy development
Hosted by Burns Lake IDP
The end of the day can be the most daunting time where we are exhausted and our children need us the most. How can we lead our kids to bed and prepare the way to shift gears into the rest mode? What are the keys to preserving contact and closeness and avoiding the angst that separation brings? How do we avoid the pitfalls and plethora of advice offered to parents such a ‘train them to sleep’ or ‘let them cry it out?’ In this presentation we will tap into age old wisdom that can make bedtime better and bring relief to all of the adults responsible for getting kids to sleep.
